Keep Out!!! lol

I made this altered Door Hanger a few weeks ago but forgot to put it on my blog.

I bought the blank door hanger what comes with the "Keep Out" & Skull & Crossbones from That Craft Place Ltd

First i painted a layer of Gesso to seal the MDF.

Next i painted it with Tim Holtz Distress Paint Daubers in Broken China. (2coats of paint were needed)

Once dry i used the Cob Web Stencil & some Modelling Paste and used it in random places.

Once this dries i dry brushed the stencilled parts with Tim Holtz Black Soot then added Inka Gold randomly in Lime Green & Pink.

Then i added some Cheesecloth , digital images i cut out and 2 furry spiders and lastly the Skull & Crossbone & The "Keep Out".

The Skull & Crossbone & "Keep Out" were covered in Stampendous Frantage - Aged Marine

Cosmic Shimmer - Vintage Lunar White & Tarnished Silver

Heart Art Tag

This was a first for me,

Making something so small but when i saw it i had to have it because it had a Heart on it!! lol

Measuring just under 12cm high x 8cm wide it was tiny!!! 

For such a small project i certainly used a lot of Products but it was so much fun!

I painted it with Tim Holtz Distress Paint Daubers in a few colours.

I used Inka Gold in a Lime Green

Here's a photo so far.

Then i used Modelling Paste through a Circle Stencil and waited for that to dry.

Next i dry brushed with paint & then added Inka Gold with my Finger.

Added a Die Cut heart underneath the Greyboard heart.

Here it is all finished!
I really love how it turned out.

The verse is a Rubber Stamp from a Set by Personal Impressions.

Altered Art MDF Cog Frame

It's a New Challenge & the last one for this year at That Craft Place

The Theme is a nice & easy one - Anything Goes

I decided to get the Paints, Inks & Modelling Paste & get messy.

I had another one of the MDF Laser Cut Cog Frames from That Craft Place Ltd.

So i decided to do the same layout as the one i did before but in a different colour!

I painted the Frame in pinks & blues from Tim Holts & DoCrafts

Then i added some modelling paste through some Stencils in random places.

Once the Modelling Paste was dry i added inka gold to it

I also added lot's of Frantage to the Frame but i did this once i had finished adding all the pieces to the layout inside the Frame.

Here's a close up of the Metal Frame what was Bronze in colour but i used the Inka Gold & Buff- It to change the look of it.

Time for Hearts.

Well today i have been making something different.

A few months ago Lisa the owner of  That Craft Place Ltd cut a Laser MDF Clock with Stars on which was very nice but i wanted something different so i asked her if she could do a clock with Hearts on as i am Crazy for anything with Hearts!!

So the Amazing Lisa went off and designed this amazing Heart Clock.

 Isn't it Sooooo GORGEOUS!!!

So then it was my turn to try and make it look pretty.

First I painted a layer of White Gesso to Prime it.

Next I painted it with Do Crafts Pink Acrylic Paint, then Dry Brushed all edges with Turqouise, then Light Blue and lastly with White but putting more on all the Hearts . 

Next i wanted the Hearts to be Pretty looking.

So i used Ranger's Emboss It Dabber and randomly dabbed on the Hearts and sprinkled on Stampendous Shabby Blue and heat Emboss it. 

Here's a close up of the embossed Hearts but sadly you can't see the glitter very good in the photo. 

Next i decorated the middle with papers & cut a Sweet Dixie Doiley.

Then i used the image Love From Sugar from That Craft Place Ltd on Etsy.

Coloured her in Copics and hand cut her out.

Stamped the verse by Personal Impressions

Added a few gems and the clock is finished.

 I have another one waiting for me to decide what colour to do next so i will be back soon with another one!! lol
