Simply B Stamps Facebook Challenge!!

Another month has Flown by for this wonderful Challenge what Betty does over on the Fan Page on Facebook! This month it was a choice between 2 Mermaids and I chose Spika The Bad Mermaid and we had to do her with Bad & Dark in mind!! lol  
She was fun to colour, I tried to make her Tail Fin look like Scales but don't think I achieved that very well but not bad for a first attempt I suppose! Will keep on trying this Technique as it's very relaxing to do so I think Betty needs to do a lot more Mermaids! lol

It's Time for a Challenge over at That Craft Place!!

Hello again and how quick has those 2 weeks gone since the last challenge over on That Craft Place?
The challenge we have for you this time is Monochrome!!
I have chosen to do all shades of Orange and boy was that hard matching up papers!
The Stamp I have used is by IndigoBlu and isn't it lovely? I have used stickles on the butterflies and then on the centre of the flowers just to give a bit of glitz to it. Ohhh and my  new favourite die of the moment the lovely Butterfly Border.

A Special card just for The Craft Place!!

Hello, I am back this time with a card what tested my hand cutting skills!! lol I have not done any Decoupage in a long time and certainly not having to handcut it out BUT it was surprisingly easy and in the end found it to be very relaxing!
I have used some New wonderful Dies what I have just bought and added to my ever growing obsession of a collection ( can never have to many dies) lol and I think I have to say I have 2 new favourites The Butterfly Border and the Fence Die. I love how you can thread ribbon through the Fence Die to give it a different look. Check out that Itty Bitty Gorgeous charm on her dress, isn't it lovely?

Christmas in July

Today's card I have used a Digital Image from Simply B Stamps and I love her.
The Naughty And Nice Sentiment is from a collection by Visible Image.
I have distressed all the edges and used some of Tim Holtz Distress Stickles in odd places.
I have coloured it with my lovely Copic Markers

Red, White & Blue!!

This card was made for my Husband who celebrates his Birthday on July 4th Independence Day!! I know I know I didn't put Husband on the card but I did buy him a card with Husband on and yes how bad am I getting a shop bought card!! lol

Simply B Facebook Challenge!!

Well I have had a full month in which to get this card done and finished but I have left it until the very last minute to enter my card!! Been a busy month of Card Making for me but here is my card for the Facebook Fan Page Challenge with this gorgeous fairy called Summer!! This month we had to create our own background so I used a Butterfly embossing folder and then sanded the butterflies and highlighted them with a little purple chalk ink!!
