Blue Tones

Hello all you lovely Crafter's.

It's time for a new Challenge over at That Craft Place

The Theme this time is the colour Blue!

I have used a Saturated Canary image called My Valentine 


Coloured with Copics on the Super Smooth card from That Craft Place Ltd

Colours used :-
Skin - E50, E51, E21 & R20 for Cheeks
Hair - E51, E53, E55, E57
Blue - B21, B23, B24, B26

Happy Birthday Mum

Hello you lovely Crafter's out there.

Today has been a great day as it's been my Mums Birthday!!
But not any birthday i might add, it was my Mums 70th Birthday!!!
So it's been a day of celebrating and having fun with my Family.

Wow i still can't believe she is 70 today because she doesn't look it at all.

I made 2 Birthday Cards because the first one i made a few months ago and i was thinking i would get ahead of myself with making cards this year. 
Well silly me forgot it was Mums 70th Birthday and i didn't want to spoil the fancy card by adding to it so instead i made another one this time with 70 on and for it to be a Funny card.

So here is the card. 
I have used an image from Doctor Digi called Polly Dent.

I so love this image and as soon as i saw it i knew i wanted it for my Mum's card.
She had a right giggle when she saw it.

A Wedding Day

Hello crafty peeps, hope your all well and enjoying your Crafting!

I was asked to make a Wedding card for my Brother's friend at work who was going to there friends Wedding.
 They requested the colour Blush Pink and not too modern.

As i don't know the couple i decided i would show the finished card!

I have used a Gorgeous image called Wedding Couple from Aurora Wings.


The dove bird has shown up in the photo a bit yellow for some reason but it's actually a nice matching cream. lol

Betty Boots - TCP Challenge

Mixed Media Canvas - Skull

Good Morning you lovely Crafter's.
Hope everything is good in your crafty world.

I am a bit late in posting this as life got in the way and then i got Tonsillitis which knocked me of my feet but slowly i am getting better.

So today i have for you a small Mixed Media Canvas.
I so love doing this sort of art and just playing and seeing the end result.

I have a few step by step photo's to show how i made this.

Firstly as always i sealed the canvas with Gesso.
Next apply texture paste through the Andy Skinner Skull stencil.
While that is drying cut the Cog Dies and layer them up for more depth.
In the bottom corners i stuck lot's of Tissue Paper using the Multi Surface Primer & created lots of creases for texture.
Then i added the paper straws & some cheesecloth.
Next paint over all of it with Gesso


 Now to have fun with Paints, Sprays & Waxes
I love this part so much lol


I mixed some seed beads & micro beads with a little multi surface primer and dabbed that around the canvas. 
Once that was dry i added more colours to just the corners.
I used DoCrafts shimmer sprays and waxes.


 I drybrushed the Skull with acrylic paint to define the edges more.


I added a Bottle Cap & filled that with Glossy Accents & sprinkled gold seed beads into it and pushed 2 small Skull beads into that.
I also stamped a Tim Holtz stamp at the top left.
To finish off i used several colours of Inca Gold to highlight in places.

Here it is all finished!

Can you see the little spiders? 
Well they are confetti shapes painted & i applied the waxes to them.


I hope i haven't bored you too much but just wanted to show you how i created it.

Golden Wedding Celebrations

Today has been a Super Special day!!

My Parents are Celebrating there Golden Wedding Anniversary!!

Wow 50 year's married! 
That is a lot of year's to be married

I made this card for them using a gorgeous image from Aurora Wings.
As you can see i have done the card in tones of Golds to match the 50th Anniversary Celebration


Seeing as they won't see my blog i can show a Photo of them without getting a telling off!! lol


The Wooden Crate was a gift from us for their garden.
 Fudge there Dog had to get in on the Photo too!! lol

Happy Birthday Hubby!!!

Good Morning you lovely Crafter's!!

As we all know it is Independence Day today so there will be many celebrations going on!
BUT
It's also my Hubby's Birthday today!!!

Happy Birthday and we love you lot's!!!!

Here's the card i made him with Barn Brat from Slinky Tart.

I really enjoyed making this card and i am hoping my Hubby loves it too. If not then he won't be getting a card next year!! lol

Anyway's best be going as not sure what we are doing for his Birthday!!
