Altered Box

It's time for a new challenge at That Craft Place

Today's Challenge is Make or Alter a Box

I Decided to Alter this box

Well i thought it would be easy but it proved to be a Challenge!!
It was painted one colour then i decided to do add some more colours to it but the Distress Paint decided to explode all over it because i squeezed it a little to much!! lol
So i had to start again with a new base colour and just kept adding different colours of Tim Holtz Distress Paints and then added waxes.
Here's a couple of Photo's during the painting of the box.

Next it was time to Decorate it up with Papers, Embellishments etc.
I used the lovely Digi Image by Ditzie Digi Designs which you can find Here  called Miss Lily.

Here is the Finished Altered Box

  1. Exquisite! It looks nothing like that pedestrian memory box that you started with...it's so lovely now! I love the colours and was surprised at the combinations, but they are fab together. I'm so jealous that you've got Hematith Inka Gold...Lisa's all out of that one! lol I really like how you've coloured Miss Lily too.
